The Melezes is the last of 4 traditional style chalet buildings and is located c.300 metres from the village centre and ski lift/piste, a mini supermarket and several nice restaurants within about 500 metres.
Large apartments - Bespoke apartments are available to purchasers who reserve their property prior to construction commencing which should be early 2021. We can join apartments to make 3, 4 or 5 bedroom properties plus other client requested additions as required.
Apartments either have a view towards Lake Geneva and Swiss cities such as Lausanne, Vevey and Montreux or southerly views of the mountains of the Memises and the black run down from the top cable car station.
A typical apartment has a lounge/dining area plus a kitchen fitted with a mini-oven, 2/4 hobs, fridge, optional dishwasher, and storage cabinets. Bath/shower rooms have a convector and a tiled wall area above the sink. Toilets are normally separate but can be joined to the bathroom to save space. Bedrooms have convector heating and are carpeted, common areas have wood effect flooring and walls and bedrooms are finished in neutral off white Italian style stucco plaster. Most apartments have a double bunk alcove, a balcony/terrace and a cave for skis/mountain bike(s). The building has electric heating, anti-freeze underfloor heating plus individual convectors. Parking - external spaces are available for a small cost, individual garages are priced according to size, all of which have internal access to the apartments above.
Purchase - a 5% deposit starts the purchase process with stage payments thereafter until the property is finished. A bank guarantee underwrites the stage payments. All funds are paid to a Government notary, not the developer. Legal purchase fees for new properties are c. 3%. Completion - the Melezes is due to be completed in Qtr. 1 2023.
The Village and Area
Thollon Les Memises sits on a promontory and slopes of the Memises mountains overlooking Lake Geneva and is only a 15-20 minute drive (8 miles) to Evian Les Bains on the lakeside.
The village altitude is 1000m and the 50 km. of mostly north-facing blacks, reds and blues and off-piste areas rise up to 2000m. Additionally, there are 6 km. of cross country trails, 60 snow cannons, 14 lifts and a quite new super fast telecabine. There is a paragliding school at 1600m and trekking on one of the many mountain trails, one all the way to the cote D'Azur.
The world-famous Portes du Soleil circuit of 600 km of piste and 220 lifts is just over 30 mins. drive from Thollon so the resort is ideally placed between the lake and major skiing.
Evian has a superb Lake Geneva lakeside complex which includes sunbathing areas, a 30-metre pool, junior pool, baby pool area, a buffet bar, water slide and a water ski boat. Additionally, many people windsurf, sail, or take a relaxing trip on one of the immaculately maintained pleasure cruisers. Evian has an international Masters golf course, many fine restaurants, indoor and outdoor tennis clubs, theatre and spa.
